YMCA Benalla boasts a huge range of both aquatic & land based fitness classes. All ages and fitness levels are more than welcome, with fully qualified staff on hand to support you towards your healthy lifestyle. Classes range from 30 minutes to 90 minutes, 5 days a week.
GROUP FITNESS CLASSES
Make sure you be on the lookout for our brand new Y-Ride class on Mondays & Wednesdays from 7pm. A low impact high energising class using our spin bikes for an effective cardio workout.
If you are looking to improve your cardio why not come in and try YHIIT, a 30 minute high intensity interval training. Using a wide range of intense exercises with monitored rest periods to help burn calories at the highest rate possible. Impact Mix is a 60 minute class using a mix of equipment including steps and weights while incorporating freestyle aerobics with body movements choreographed to music.
If flexibility is something you would prefer to work on, come in and try Yoga or Oxigeno. Mark Blyss is a well renowned yoga instructor within the Benalla community and takes all our Yoga classes. Oxigeno will enhance your flexibility & mobility through a series of harmonious and flowing movements connected to breathing.
Aqua Aerobics is a triple whammy. Participating in an Aqua class can improve your cardio fitness, muscle tone and co-ordination all in one 45 minute class.
SOLO GYM WORKOUT
Brand new PRECOR treadmill and AMT (Adaptive Motion Trainer), cardio and weight machines and free weights. The gym is open during all Centre opening hours. Don’t be shy if you haven’t tried a gym before, we have qualified Instructors available throughout the week to help you get the most out of your workout!
